A rally for strong communities, good jobs, and tax fairness.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour, its affiliates, and community partners will be holding a public rally in opposition to the drastic and regressive measures taken in the recent provincial budget.
If passed, this budget will have a devastating impact on our rural communities, our province’s public services, our sick, seniors, women, youth, our most vulnerable, our disadvantaged, and our economy as a whole.
This government had a number of options open to them, however they chose to implement regressive and unfair tax measures, cut vital public services and jobs, and failed to take action to boost our economy during the current recession.

Attendees are encouraged (if possible) to bring a Non- Perishable Food Item in aid of the Community Food Sharing Association
