Two More Home Care Groups Join NAPE

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) has been certified by the Labour Relations Board as the bargaining agent for both South Coast Home Care and Caring Hands.

South Coast Home Care, based in St. Alban’s, has 49 employees providing home care services in Milltown, Harbour Breton and Poole’s Cove; with the bulk of the employees in St. Alban’s.

Caring Hands, based in Harbour Breton, has 36 employees providing home care services in Hermitage, Poole’s Cove and Sandyville; with the bulk of the employees working in Harbour Breton.

There are now twenty-nine groups of home care workers who have been certified to become NAPE members.
