Applications are now being accepted for the NAPE Women’s Conference. The Conference will be held at the Terra Nova Golf Resort, Terra Nova on May 26-28, 2017.
The selection process for this Conference will be done by Region. Members who have not attended a Women’s Conference before will be given preference, wherever possible. Registration is open to female members only. As in previous years, the Committee will be compiling a waiting list; therefore, if you apply and cannot attend, it is important you notify Accounting immediately since the Committee will be backfilling from the wait list.
Transportation for the Conference will be provided by charter bus, which will pick up passengers at designated stops along the Trans Canada Highway. Members will be reimbursed for their mileage traveling from their homes to and from the nearest place the charter bus stops. Members living in Labrador will be flown to the nearest airport. Buses will be leaving St. John=s and the West Coast on the morning of Friday, May 26 and leaving to return on Sunday, May 28.
All meals will be provided, except Friday lunch and Sunday dinner.
Accommodations will be based on double occupancy. If you are selected and want to share with a specific person should they also be selected, please indicate when you send in your form. This is a smoke free facility so a smoking room is not an option.
Registration will be on Friday, May 26, from 4-5 p.m. in the main lobby of the hotel. Time off/wage loss is not provided for this Conference. Any member who is selected to attend must arrange their own time off. These workshops are a full two day event and anyone attending must be able to commit to the two full days.
