Update – Public Sector/MUNL/MI Contracts Officially Signed 

We are writing you today to inform you that the collective agreements have been signed off and are in effect as of November 1, 2022 for the following bargaining units:

  • CNA Faculty
  • CNA Support Staff
  • General Service
  • Group Homes
  • Health Professionals
  • Health Services Staff
  • Laboratory & X-Ray
  • MOS
  • NLC
  • School Boards
  • Student Assistants
  • Ushers
  • WorkplaceNL

The following agreements were signed on October 31, 2022:

  • Marine Institute – Faculty
  • Marine Institute – Support
  • MUNL – Custodians
  • MUNL – Campus Enforcement and Patrol
  • MUNL – Maintenance

Recognition Bonus and Retroactive Pay Timelines

The respective employers will be following up in the coming days with the specific dates for issuance of payments relating to these agreements.

Payments will be made before Christmas.

Retro will be paid on one payday along with regular bi-weekly earnings and the recognition bonus will be paid on another payday along with regular bi-weekly earnings.
